Excellent toolkit from Guidestar to use social media for promoting nonprofits (or others). The toolkit consists of three messages: a sample tweet, a sample Facebook post, and a sample email. It's half a page long. Print it out and post it to remind yourself to do it (and what to do).
From a friend at a company that has just converted a large website to Drupal. He says the old way was much easier: just send a request to IT. He adds that nevertheless, for quick edits and timely updates, Drupal is better.
