An article in Computerworld explores the issues surrounding BYOT (bring your own technology), BYOD (bring your own device), and the consumerization of IT -- all different ways of discussing the trend for organizations allowing and even encouraging people to use their own devices and technologies under the corporate IT unbrella.

WAMC Roundtable April 24, 2012: Storage strategies and numbers

Remember when we were all warned to back up important files to a floppy disk? Now that computers are shipping with giga- and terabytes of storage, we have to think of other ways. We'll be talking about strategies of protecting your data such as using RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks). RAID storage is now available for under $500, and for some people might be the way to go.
